Do you offer in-person sessions?

No, Michael Player Psychology is currently a telehealth-only practice. All sessions are conducted via a secure, encrypted video platform. This allows clients from anywhere in Australia to access high-quality clinical care from the comfort of their home or office.

What are your fees, and can I get a Medicare rebate?

Yes, Medicare rebates are available if you have a valid Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) and referral from your GP under the Better Access initiative. This rebate covers a significant portion of the session fee. Private health fund rebates may also apply depending on your level of cover; please check with your fund.

How do I request an appointment?

Since we do not offer self-service online booking, all inquiries are managed securely through our website Contact form. Once you submit a request, our practice administrator will get in touch with you within one business day to discuss availability, fees, and schedule your appointment.

What should I expect in my first session?

Your initial consultation is an individualised assessment session. Michael will spend time understanding your background, current concerns, stress triggers, and therapy goals. Together, you will lay the groundwork for an evidence-based, highly personalised treatment plan tailored to your exact needs.
